Mission: The SBA wants to tell the story and history of the Sutliff Bridge located in northeast Johnson County. Education is a key element in preserving historical sites. With the addition of a permanent scholarship given to those who promote our mission, the SBA is fulfilling an important function to our historical heritage.
Available Scholarships: A total of 3 scholarships for 2022 graduates.
- $1500 - The Don Nost Memorial/Sutliff Bridge Authority Scholarship
(a privately funded scholarship to be awarded to one student from the Lisbon School District) - Two - $500 each - Sutliff Bridge Authority Scholarships - chosen from all applications
Eligible Schools Criteria: The SBA will award one-time scholarships to three students from the school districts listed below.

The SBA Scholarship requires you to only provide basic information about yourself and write a 500-1000 word essay on why historical preservation is important to you and your community. Go to this link to complete the online information about yourself, write your essay on the same page, and press submit! Application Deadline: Friday, April 1, 2022 We'll notify schools and students if they are winners in May. |
